<description>I’m drinking nothing but water while I teach this class on the Sacramental Economy. I take a quote from the Catechism (CCC 1131) and break it open showing the Old Testament prefigures, how Jesus perfect it, and how through the Holy Spirit all that belongs to Jesus is given to us for his glory (Jn 16:14). I close off with the reciprocal nature of the Sacraments, how we are not mercenaries working for blessing, but rather we approach the sacraments in the spirit of thanksgiving and in the obedience of Faith.
It’s a nerd one, so if you like the nerdy Catholic stuff this is the episode for you. Neil and I will get together soon to record a new one for you!
